Stacey Pfingsten came on as the new EVP of AIA Illinois in September of 2019. She was previously the executive director of the Louisiana Architecture Foundation (LAF), organizing the South's first ever Annual Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) in New Orleans as well as spearheaded LAF's first produced documentary "Unexpected Modernism: The Wiener Brothers Story," which recently aired on Louisiana Public Broadcasting. Prior to living in New Orleans, she lived in Chicago for a number of years and has served as the communications director for Preservation Chicago, worked for several City of Chicago aldermen, and even ran once, albeit unsuccessfully in 2015 for 2nd Ward Alderman in Chicago. ERIC KLINNER, CAE
Eric has been with AIA Illinois since 2006. He handles membership issues (including how to join and understanding your benefits), works closely with the Board as liaison and manages the day-to-day operations of the state office. In 2018, he is also serving as President of the Illinois Society of Association Executives. Email Eric
Mary joined AIA Illinois in 2001 and oversees all aspects of events and meeting planning, including program development, sponsorship & logistics and facilitates the annual Honor Awards Program. She can also answer questions about Mandatory Continuing Education, including navigation of AIA/CES Discovery and help with your transcript. Email Mary

Anna is a graduate of Journalism and Communications with an Emphasis in Public Relations from Iowa State University’s Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication. She brings over 12 years of experience in marketing, public relations and graphic design and specializes in public relations campaigns, media outreach, strategic planning, public relations writing, collateral production and design, social media management, photography, and video editing. Anna is a native of Moline, Ill. and now resides in the greater Springfield, Ill. area.
